Sharing with the reader God’s heart for them. The beauty of Christian Fiction is how unthreatening it can seem until you hit that part of the story that hits you in the heart. Now, I can hear it all ready, “You should be passing around the Word, not some work of fiction.” And you would be right, but hear me out. I have been so touched by this story that I want to pass it off to every hurting person I know. As I closed the hard back cover of this beautiful story, I began to cry (Still am as I type this). The Masterpiece is just that, a masterpiece written with such care so that the readers are enlightened or reminded of just how meticulous God was in designing mankind. Sometimes it is pleasant, other times - not so much. Contentment, joy, anger, warm fuzzies, what ever it may be, they want you to feel it right to the core. That the reader closes the back cover, and feels something. An author’s prayer, when they release a book into the world, is that the story invokes emotions in some way.
